Travelyaari, bringing cash-free payments to bus travelers and other operators, online bus booking platform Travelyaari on Tuesday they announced a partnership with Reliance Jio & Paytm for offline payment integration.

The platform is promoting ‘cash-free’ payments among all its customers at select inter-city offline counters with 2,000 operators across 10,000 branches presently, the company added this in a statement.

“Customers can pay for their tickets using either of the mobile wallets and avails of several cash-back incentives,” said Arvind Lama, a Travelyaari spokesperson. Integrated with Enterprise Resource Planning system, payment options will get cashless at offline bus counters, and there will be no longer be hassles of dealing with the change, thus speeding up the payment.

The travelers can use either Paytm or the special JioMoney app to dispense the exact amount required to book bus tickets. According to Reliance the mobile application ‘JioMoney’ was conceived with the aim to empower individuals to make payments anytime or anywhere.

This comes right after PMannounced the demonetization to the old Rs 500 & Rs 1000 notes. People all around are finding it difficult to arrange smaller denominations of currency to continue their transactions.
